When we are not heard or understood, small emotional misalignments begin to accumulate.In The Penny Model - Revised book, these moments are the “pennies” we accumilate—times we say yes when we mean no (or visa/versa) or experience a no, whilst seeking a yes to being heard and understood, stay silent instead of speaking or sharing our authentic emotional experience, or protect ourselves through fear rather than truth. Over time, these pennies build weight, leading to rupture, conflict, distance, and disconnection.
This session offers a compassionate space to slow down and address those moments and explore how these patterns and coping strategies can be changed.
Therapy, in this context, is the support to speak the unspoken and express the unexpressed—to give voice to what has been unsayable, unfelt, or suppressed. It is an invitation into greater intimacy:IN-TO-ME-SEE.
